The Invitation Station is a small business located
in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. As an artist and mom, I began several years ago designing invitations for my daughters'
birthday parties. After receiving compliments about the invitations I designed, and questions about whether or not I designed
and sold the invitations, I decided to start a small business.
With the support of my husband, I started taking
and completing orders! My husband and our two daughters are my greatest fans and often help critique new designs. I am
truly blessed, thankful and humbled to have been able to turn my hobby into a successful small business.
All of my stationery and invitation designs feature my original artwork. I hand draw designs in two different
ways. I draw some designs, with the computer mouse, by my own hands! I hand paint the rest of the designs, using mostly
watercolor. Since I do not use any clipart, I am not limited to a bank of graphics...I just draw what my customers request.
Many of my customers simply provide me their party theme, or stationery need, and I design something especially for them!
Offering my customers a unique, custom look has allowed my business to grow significantly over the last two years.
Word of mouth has proven to be my best advertising. I always strive to provide my customers a flawless product, with
fast turn around and excellent customer service!
I am enjoying using my God-given talent in a way that
allows me to meet new people while providing them with a product. I hope that you enjoy viewing my samples and that you
